Clearing out the Cobwebs

Oh deary me!  Sorry I fell off the face of the planet for a month.  To be fair I moved city (well, island really) started a new, but fairly similar job to my last one, and most importantly, have not successfully secured a new ballet class.  Which sucks.

I knew that this might come to be a small problem.  I was nearly spoilt for choice in Edinburgh.  Found a class in my local paper, brilliant!  Oh, you know that rockin' dance studio in the city centre, enrollment's just opened up.  Here, it's been, if you're not 4-12, it ain't gonna happen sister.

So I've been trying to fill the void in other ways.  Like workout dvds.  While they keep me moving, they just don't satisfy the pretty craving.  Today was a particularly desperate day.  Me, in leo, tights, and ballet shoes, doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred.  I tell ya folks, it wasn't the same.

Also hit the jackpot this weekend regarding ballet pictures, but not cheesy ones you'd see in a little girl's room, but grown up ones, in frames, which I'm convinced up the maturity factor.  So I've got ballet pictures in my room, working out in my ballet gear, but no ballet.

The hunt will continue, until then, any suggestions on how to get my ballet on, without actually being able to go to a ballet class?  Books, dvds, you tube, hit me with what you got.  Nothing crazy, as I've not been at it that long and I don't want to develop bad form.

And if by any chance, you are a ballet instructor in Northern Ireland or within reasonable distance of the border, get in touch.  Please.

I might be able to talk some girls at work into it, if that would sweeten the deal.

Until then and hopefully not a month from now, laterz!

And mega good juju to Adult Beginner, sorry about the rough goings and your crankle!  <3
